I have the 2020 (rework) version from the latest Electronic Saviors release. In looking for lyrics I ran across this version. I have to say I like this version, but I like the new one better.
ViolentSleep
I love bleak, almost sad sounding instrumentals and Monolith is brilliant for it. It's haunting music and powerful vocals are a good indication of Cryogen Second's future. Between this and Rust and Remain I expect only good things in the future.

about
If rust and remain was the first hints at a new sound, let this track serve as the thesis statement for future Cryogen Second releases. Bleak songs and ghost story metaphors wrapped in
lyrics
Turning pages in repetitious bliss
we're better off not listening to ghosts behind the walls
and letting whispers die in here.
No breath in dead wires
these thoughts were never ours
while turning pages
end unaware
Let the old gods die
and rebuild it all again
They'll disconnect
in silence
and die in vain
in blindness

In particular the vocals have this wispy Chelsea Wolfe quality full of fairy fire flickering promise. The music is a shifting fantasia, almost an entire film score journey in five minutes. Tender raindrop keys, crushing storm front guitars, and bisecting buzzsaw percussion. A cacophony of sound and beauty. As an added bonus it contains a Bside called “exit/Void” with a spoken word poem surrounded by sinister overtones. preciousken
